Want to see the 2024 Masters? Here is how to apply to score tickets to Augusta National

So you want to attend the 2024 Masters in person?

Most of the time, it's better to just watch the tournament on television but if you want to try your luck at taking in the sights and sounds of the Augusta National Golf Club and see one of the most thrilling sporting events in the world, here is your chance.

First, you need to create a free account on Masters.com. You have until June 20 to do so and then you can submit your application to purchase tickets. Another caveat of the application, it is limited to only one application per person or address, and if you aren't of legal drinking age, you are out of luck.

You can select the practice rounds Monday or Tuesday, the Par 3 Contest on Wednesday, or any of the actual tournament rounds, which will start Thursday, April 11.

If you are lucky to be picked for the sports equivalent to winning the Powerball or seeing "Hamilton" with the original cast, then you will fork over $100 for being selected for the Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday sessions or $140 for each ticket during the actual tournament.

Winners will be notified in late July, according to the website.

If you are a lucky recipient and want to resale the ticket, think again.

"ANI is the only authorized source/seller of Tournament Tickets. Tickets may not be offered for sale, bartered, sold or rented through/to third party resellers including, but not limited to, ticket brokers, travel agents, hospitality entities or scalpers," the site says.
