Ranking every former Masters winner at the 2024 tournament based on odds to win

With the 2024 Masters getting underway this Thursday, golf fans will get the privilege of watching several former Masters champions at Augusta National – 18 in fact. The only former winner who could attend and chose not to was 1985 and 1993 winner Bernhard Langer.
Of course, some other champions are not able to attend due to personal or legal issues, such as 2009 Masters champion Angel Cabrera, who currently cannot travel to the United States for the event as he does not have a visa.
Still, many former champions are converging in Augusta in 2024. Each of them has proven capable of playing their best golf in high-pressure situations on one of the biggest stages in golf. But who has the best chance to dawn the green jacket again this year? Which of the former winners is the most daunted of the field this time around?
Is last year's winner Jon Rahm expected to claim victory once again? Is World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler the favorite? How about Tiger Woods given that he's made the cut at 23 consecutive Masters Tournaments?

How to watch the 2024 Masters
The 2024 Masters Tournament will take place between Thursday, April 11 and Sunday, April 14, with one round played each day. The first two rounds will air on ESPN, with coverage starting at 3 p.m. ET both days. The cut will be determined by the standings after the second round. Only the top-50 players at the end of two days will advance to the weekend rounds. Rounds 3 and 4 will air on CBS with coverage starting at 3 p.m. on Saturday, the 13th, and 2 p.m. on Sunday, the 14th.
