Defending champion Scottie Scheffler will head the field as the best golfers in the world converge on Augusta National Golf Club for the 2025 Masters Tournament.

Scheffler won his second green jacket last year, besting runner-up Ludvig Åberg by four strokes.

This year's field (as of April 1) contains 21 players, five of them amateurs, who will be making their Masters debuts. Two other players have also accepted special international invitations.

Five-time champion Tiger Woods will not be playing in this year's event as he recovers from surgery last month to repair a ruptured Achilles tendon.

The 89th Masters runs from April 10-13.
