Xander Schauffele is among the competitors expected to compete in the PGA Championship tournament this week.

Schauffele won the 2024 championship in Kentucky and will defend his title at Quail Hollow, located in Charlotte, North Carolina.

In 2024, he never gave up the lead throughout each round of the event despite sharing the lead with Collin Morikawa at the end of the third round.

Schauffele shot a 65 after he birdied on the last hole of the final round, just one shot ahead of Bryson DeChambeau to win his first major title. Schauffele’s 21-under-par performance broke a major championship scoring record.

Schauffele would continue his successful run just months later, winning the Open Championship.
