Would you believe 204,906? Record crowd Saturday at Waste Management Phoenix Open
An attendance record was set Saturday when 204,906 fans watched the third round of the Waste Management Phoenix Open at the Tournament Players Club of Scottsdale.
The previous record for Saturday was 201,003, set last year.
Already this week, 597,680 have come through the gates at the TPC Scottsdale.
The record week-long attendance is 618,365, also set in 2016. Sunday's attendance last year was 65,330.
But the weekly attendance will be broken if 21,585 fans show up.

Since daily attendance records were started, the Sunday crowd has never been smaller than the 23,650 fans who attended in 1991.

Scott Piercy, who opened 71-65 and was T-11 after two days, posted a 78 on Saturday, 13 shots worse than the day before. His scorecard was littered with bogeys - 8 of them - and he had just 1 birdie.

Parking
Public parking is free. There is also a with shuttle providing access to the tournament gates. Lot H is a public parking lot at Loop 101 and Hayden Road. It is recommended that eastbound Loop 101 drivers exit at Hayden and drive south into the parking lot. Lot W is at WestWorld. It is recommended that drivers exit Frank Lloyd Wright Blvd., then drive north to Bell Road on 94th street and then into the parking lot. The free shuttles from Lot H will operate Sunday from 7 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. The free shuttles from Lot W will operate Sunday from 7 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
