Meadowlands racing card rained out

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (AP) — Rain has forced the Meadowlands Racetrack to cancel its six-race thoroughbred card scheduled for Saturday night.

The track said that with heavy rain in the morning and the expectation of more throughout the day, the all-turf card was called off.

The meet will resume Oct. 10.
