Notes: Keepmeinmind had a solid 2-year-old campaign – capped by a victory in the Grade 2 Kentucky Jockey Club on Nov. 28 at Churchill Downs – but hasn’t translated that success to 2021. He’s finished off the board in both starts this year – sixth in the Grade 2 Rebel on March 13 at Oaklawn Park and fifth in the Blue Grass. … Keepmeinmind fired a bullet workout at Churchill on Friday, going four furlongs in 46.20 seconds. It was the fastest of 108 workouts at the distance on the day. … Spendthrift acquired a 50% ownership interest in Keepmeinmind in February.

What they’re saying: “He does love the track at Churchill,” Diodoro said. “Last fall he trained great over it and ran a great race over there. Hopefully we end up there May 1.”
