Indians recall LHP Crockett, option LHP Hagadone
BOSTON (AP) — The Cleveland Indians have recalled Kyle Crockett from Triple-A Columbus and optioned fellow left-handed reliever Nick Hagadone to their top farm club.
In his other stint with Cleveland this season, Crockett had a 2.08 ERA and no record in 4 1-3 innings over three appearances. He made his major league debut on May 16 after being called up from Double-A Akron.
In 21 minor league outings this season, Crockett has a 0.74 ERA and no record.
Hagadone was 1-0 with a 7.71 ERA in 2 1-3 innings over five relief appearances after being recalled from Columbus on June 2. He is 2-3 with a 3.09 ERA in 18 relief appearances for Columbus.
The Indians made the moves before Friday night's game at Boston.
