Braves' Mike Minor has no-hitter broken up in the 8th

CINCINNATI (AP) — Atlanta Braves left-hander Mike Minor did not allow a hit through 7 2/3 innings against the Cincinnati Reds on Friday night.

But with two outs in the eighth, Reds' Billy Hamilton hit an RBI single to drive in Zack Cozart for the tying run. Braves manager Fredi Gonzalez took Minor out after the single to an nice ovation.

Minor walked four, but the Reds didn't come close to a hit until the eighth. Cincinnati has been in a deep slump, dropping its last six games. Minor has only one complete game in his career, a 3-1 loss to the White Sox last season.

This was been the longest the Reds have been no-hit this season.
