Curt Schilling realized life can come at you fast when you're raging on Twitter.

The former major league pitcher and current Breitbart radio host wrote on Twitter, "I am in 'need' of nothing" on Saturday -- two hours before the first of a series of tweets asking for help to salvage his relief supply trip to an area of Texas recovering from floods brought by Hurricane Harvey.

Schilling tweeted that he lost an axle on his trailer outside of Nashville and needed a replacement trailer. The supply run that Schilling called "Operation Bullpen" eventually got back on the road after the goods hauled in the broken-down trailer were offloaded into a U-Haul. What Schilling termed his "convoy" arrived in Beaumont, Texas, on Sunday morning.
