Yankees catcher Gary Sanchez makes light of painful foul tip
New York Yankees catcher Gary Sanchez made light of the unfortunate foul tip during Tuesday night's American League wild-card game that induced a nationwide cringe --- including from his own pitcher, David Robertson.
"When your teammates 'feel' for you," Sanchez wrote on Twitter Wednesday. "I am OK."
Sanchez remained in the game after the pitched tipped by Minnesota's Brian Dozier caught him square in the groin in the sixth inning en route to the Yankees 8-4 victory over the Twins.
