The Baltimore Orioles' efforts to construct a pitching rotation at the last minute continued Monday when they reunited with pitcher Chris Tillman on a one-year contract that guarantees him $3 million, according to multiple reports.

Tillman, 29, won 73 games for the Orioles from 2009-2017, but struggled last year with a shoulder injury and pitched just 93 innings, posting a career-worst 7.84 ERA and losing his spot in the rotation.

But Baltimore entered camp needing multiple starting pitchers, and added former Texas Ranger Andrew Cashner on a two-year, $16 million deal Thursday. Even with Tillman's addition, the Orioles could opt to pursue higher-end rotation options still available, such as free agents Lance Lynn and Alex Cobb.

As of now, their rotation likely consists of Dylan Bundy, Kevin Gausman, Cashner, Tillman and perhaps Miguel Castro or Gabriel Ynoa.
