The National League Division Series between the Washington Nationals and Los Angeles Dodgers begins Thursday.

The winner of the best-of-five series moves on to the NL Championship Series, where they'll meet the winner of the Atlanta Braves and St. Louis Cardinals. 

Both teams enter the series on winning streaks. The Nationals have won their last nine games, including the NL wild-card victory over Milwaukee, and the Dodgers closed the regular season with seven straight wins.

The last time these two clubs played each other in the playoffs was in the 2016 NLDS, when the Dodgers won three games to two.
