The American League Division Series between the New York Yankees and Minnesota Twins begins Friday.
The winner of the best-of-five series moves on to the AL Championship Series, where they'll meet the winner of the Tampa Bay Rays and Houston Astros.
The Twins are playing the Yankees for the sixth time in the postseason since 2003. And in the previous five meetings, the Twins are 0-4 against the Yankees in the AL Division Series -- 2003, 2004, 2009 and 2010 -- and 0-1 (2017) in wild-card games.
The Yankees are 99-37 overall against the Twins since 2002, and 13-2 in the postseason, including 10 consecutive games.
