CC Sabathia says goodbye to Yankees and baseball with special note

CC Sabathia is showing love for all his teammates and the sport he played since he was a kid.
Sabathia, who is retiring from baseball after a 19-year career, posted a thank you note on his social media channels Monday morning, recognizing his teammates from his days in Cleveland, Milwaukee and, of course, New York, where he won a World Series title in 2009.
"I'm so thankful to have experienced this journey with every teammate past and present," Sabathia wrote. "All I ever wanted was to be a great teammate and win."

Sabathia's career came to an end in Game 4 of the American League Championship Series, injuring his shoulder while pitching, and having to make an emotional walk off the field to a standing ovation from the Yankee Stadium crowd.
As for his Yankees teammates this season, Sabathia had a special message:
"I'm so proud of this year's team. We fought til the end. Love you guys!"
