2020 MLB draft: Order, time, TV info for first round and Day 1

Major League Baseball's 2020 first-year player draft begins Wednesday with the first 37 selections.
But unlike years past, it will be quite different and virtual. There will be just 160 players drafted, by far the fewest since the annual selection started in 1965, because the draft has been cut from 40 rounds to five.
The draft was reduced as part of a March 26 agreement with the players’ association and MLB in order to cut expenses due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The Detroit Tigers have the first overall selection and is expected to draft Spencer Torkelson -- a slugging first baseman from Arizona State University.
There are only 29 picks in the first round after the Houston Astros forfeited their round pick due to the sign-stealing scandal.
