The National League Championship Series gets underway Monday night at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas with the Los Angeles Dodgers and Atlanta Braves batting for a spot in the World Series.
It's the fourth trip to the NLCS in five years for the Dodgers, who reached the World Series in 2017 and 2018. The Braves meanwhile, are here for the first time since 2001.
The Dodgers had baseball's best record (43-17) in the regular season and have won all five games in the postseason, sweeping the Milwaukee Brewers and San Diego Padres so far this October.
Atlanta is also unbeaten in the playoffs, sweeping the Cincinnati Reds and Miami Marlins and are the first team since 1905 to post four shutouts in its first five games of the postseason.

The Dodgers go with right-hander Walker Buehler (1-0, 3.44 ERA) in the NLCS opener. Buehler started Game 1 of the wild-card series and NLDS, but only lasted four innings in each outing.– giving up three earned runs with 16 strikeouts in his eight innings of work.
Lefty Max Fried (7-0, 2.25 ERA) gets the start for the Braves on Monday. The 26-year-old started Game 1 of the wild-card series (seven shutout innings) and the NLDS (four runs in four innings). The Dodgers had a .467 slugging percentage against left-handers in the regular season, the third best in baseball.
