When do pitchers, catchers report to spring training? Report dates for all 30 MLB teams
Once the Super Bowl is over, many sports fans immediately turn their attention to the start of baseball season.
It's right around the corner with pitchers and catchers reporting to their teams' spring training camps in Florida and Arizona.
The Chicago Cubs will be the first MLB team to begin workouts at their facility in Mesa, Arizona, when their pitchers and catchers arrive on Feb. 9. The Cubs and Los Angeles Dodgers (Feb. 11, in Glendale, Arizona) are getting started a little earlier than most everyone else because they'll play the 2025 regular season-opening series in Tokyo on March 18-19.

When do spring training games start?
The Cubs and Dodgers will kick off the spring training exhibition schedule on Thursday, Feb. 20, with a game at the Dodgers' home park in Glendale, Arizona.
The next day – Friday, Feb. 21 – will have five games on the schedule, with another Dodgers-Cubs matchup at the Cubbies' home park in Mesa, Arizona.
The Grapefruit League opener will have the New York Yankees hosting the Tampa Bay Rays, who coincidentally will play their regular-season games at the very same George Steinbrenner Field in Tampa after their home park, Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, suffered massive damage from Hurricane Milton last October.
