Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Christian Yelich paid homage to late broadcaster Bob Uecker with a custom bat for the club's spring picture media day on Friday.

Uecker, who died on Jan. 16 at the age of 90, spent 54 years as the Brewers' radio announcer and was beloved nationally for his appearances in film and television.

After the Brewers' final game in 2024, Yelich was emotional talking about Uecker, who had come to the clubhouse after Milwaukee's season-ending loss.

"It's special every time he's around," Yelich told reporters in October. "He means a lot to this place. Anybody that's spent any kind of time here knows how special Bob is."
