When is the 2025 MLB All-Star Game? What to know for Atlanta Midsummer Classic
The 2025 MLB All-Star Game rosters have been unveiled and only a few regular-season games remain before the All-Star break begins.
Aaron Judge, Cal Raleigh and Vladimir Guerrero Jr. will lead the American League starters while Shohei Ohtani, Ronald Acuna Jr. and Kyle Tucker are among the headliners that will take the field for the National League. The MLB All-Star Game is back in Atlanta for the first time in 25 years, last hosted at Turner Field in 2000.
Ohtani and Judge were the leading vote-getters for this year's All-Star Game and the Los Angeles Dodgers wound up with a league-best five selections, including a special commissioner's pick in pitcher Clayton Kershaw. The Detroit Tigers and Seattle Mariners each had four All-Star picks. There are also 19 first-time All-Star selections in 2025, led by Mariners catcher Cal Raleigh, Baltimore Orioles first baseman Ryan O'Hearn, Athletics shortstop Jacob Wilson and Chicago Cubs outfielder Pete Crow-Armstrong.
