MLB Speedway Classic: Time, TV channel for Braves-Reds at Bristol Motor Speedway
After much anticipation, the diamond finally meets the racetrack in Tennessee on Saturday, Aug. 2.
In a first-of-its-kind spectacle, the Atlanta Braves and Cincinnati Reds will meet on the infield at Bristol Motor Speedway in Bristol, Tennessee at 7:15 p.m. ET for the 2025 MLB Speedway Classic.
The MLB Speedway Classic not only will be the first Major League Baseball game played in Tennessee, but also is expected to be the most-attended game in regular season history, as more than 85,000 tickets have been sold for the event.
There is also quite a local storyline going into the MLB Speedway Classic with the starting pitchers, as the Braves' Spencer Strider is from nearby Knoxville, Tennessee and the Reds' Chase Burns started his career at the University of Tennessee before becoming the No. 2 overall draft pick in the 2024 MLB Draft out of Wake Forest.
Atlanta enters the matchup with a 4-2 record vs. Cincinnati this season, though the Braves and Reds have split the first two games of the three-game series at Great American Ball Park in Cincinnati.
