How to watch the 2024 MLB All-Star Game and Home Run Derby

MLB's annual All-Star week is just around the corner, and its eight events will be capped off with the Home Run Derby and the All-Star Game.

The Derby and All-Star Game are the conclusion of a week of events that include an HBCU baseball showcase, youth softball and youth baseball tournaments, the Futures Game, a celebrity softball game and the first night of the MLB draft.

In the Home Run Derby, the week's penultimate event, Mets first baseman and two-time home run king Pete Alonso is looking for his third title as he participates in his fifth straight contest. The prize pool for the contest is $2.5 million, with the winner taking home $1 million and the runner-up $750,000.

The All-Star Game will once again see the top players from each league face off in a full, nine-inning game.
