The American Family Field parking lots won't be full for Opening Day tailgating until Thursday afternoon.
But Milwaukee Brewers starter Corbin Burnes helped get the party started a night early.
In the middle of Burnes' start Wednesday night at Camden Yards in Baltimore, fans that attended the Brewers Eve Bash Leff's Lucky Town in Wauwatosa were informed that the 2021 Cy Young Award winner would be picking up the check.
That's right, Burnes provided a surprise open bar to a large group of Brew Crew backers — while he was throwing exploding cut-fastballs for seven scoreless innings.
