With Hurricane Irma heading toward the East Coast, the Florida State League has canceled its championship series that was supposed to take place this weekend, according to a report from MiLB.com.
Dunedin Blue Jays host the Tampa Yankees and the Fort Meyers Miracle hosts the Palm Beach Cardinals in the semifinal series, which are scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday. According to the report, the winners of those series will be declared co-champions.
