Bryce Harper shares first pictures of newborn son Krew

Philadelphia Phillies slugger Bryce Harper and his wife Kayla have a new addition to their home dugout. 

Last Thursday, Kayla gave birth to a son – Krew Aron Harper – whose first stat line reads: 7 pounds, 9 ounces and 19 inches.

Harper, who's been on the paternity list since last Tuesday, celebrated the blessed event on Monday by posting a photo on Instagram of the parents cuddling with their first-born in the hospital. 

It's been a momentous year already for the All-Star outfielder after he signed a 13-year, $330 million contract with Philadelphia in February.

Harper will rejoin the Phillies on Monday night as they return from a week-long road trip to host the Pittsburgh Pirates.
