After a rainout on Wednesday, the Houston Astros and New York Yankees face off in Game 4 of the American League Championship Series on Thursday night at Yankee Stadium.

The Astros have a 2-1 series lead, winning Games 2 and 3 after dropping the series-opener at home. Houston's pitching was as good as advertised in the wins, with Justin Verlander and Gerrit Cole turning in stellar performances.

The Yankees, 27-time World Series winners, are in danger of falling into a hole that they won't be able to dig their way out of. New York hasn't reached the Fall Classic since 2009.

The Yankees turn to Masahiro Tanaka (11-9,  4.45 ERA), who has given up just one earned run in two starts this postseason, including six shutout innings in the Game 1 win. In his career, Tanaka has a 1.32 ERA in 41 postseason innings.

Right-hander Zack Greinke (18-5, 2.93 ERA) will start for Houston. The veteran is 0-2 in the playoffs this year, losing Game 1 against the Yankees – despite turning in a quality start.
