It had been an ongoing storyline throughout October. Washington Nationals phenom Juan Soto couldn't partake in alcohol during the team's wild-card, NLDS or NLCS clubhouse celebrations.
Soto's 21st birthday finally came during the World Series and after helping the Nationals beat the Astros 6-2 in Game 7 of the World Series, Washington's left fielder was finally able to let loose with his teammates.
The breakout star of the 2019 postseason, Soto went 9-for-27 with three home runs and seven RBI in the World Series.
