Man vandalizes Detroit's Comerica Park with sledgehammer, smashes windows

A man damaged a door and smashed several windows at Comerica Park overnight, Detroit police said Monday morning.
Police responded to a call at 2:25 a.m. and interviewed the security guard who discovered the damage. The suspect smashed glass doors and windows with a sledgehammer, then fled the scene on foot without taking anything, according to police.
It is unclear what the motive was for the attack.
A police department spokesperson described the suspect as a male in his 30s, last seen wearing a dark hoodie, jean shorts and white gym shoes.
The Tigers won't be playing at Comerica for awhile -- they are on a West Coast trip this week.
