Watch: Aaron Judge hits first three-HR game as Yankees end historic skid

In a season general manager described as a "disaster", Aaron Judge provided a bright spot for the Yankees in The Bronx.
The reigning American League MVP added another milestone to his career on Wednesday, notching his first ever three-home run game against the Nationals. He hit the trifecta with a shot off of Jose A. Ferrer in the seventh inning to extend a rare Yankees blowout:
Judge put an exclamation point on what appears to be the end of one of the darkest streaks in franchise history. Entering the night, the Bombers had dropped nine straight games to essentially fall out of the AL playoff picture.
The first homer of the night from the Yankees captain came in the first inning off of MacKenzie Gore, and he then followed with a grand slam off of Gore in the next frame.
