Major League Soccer opening weekend: Game times, TV and streaming info
The 2018 Major League Soccer season — the 23rd in league history — opens this weekend.
Four games can be seen on national television in the United States, including the inaugural game for MLS expansion team Los Angeles Football Club. Non-nationally televised games are available to fans on MLSsoccer.com, the MLS app, Apple TV and
Roku.
Each team plays a 34-game schedule (17 home, 17 away), with the regular season concluding on Sunday, Oct. 28.
Here is everything you need to know heading into the first weekend of play this MLS season:

World Cup break: June 14-22
MLS All-Star Game: Aug. 1, to be held at Mercedes-Benz Stadium, Atlanta
Decision Day: Oct. 28, with all regular-season finales played at same time
Playoffs: Oct. 31, top six finishers in Eastern and Western Conferences qualify
MLS Cup: Dec. 8, held at home stadium of finalist with the highest regular-season point total
