Conor McGregor pleaded guilty in an Irish court Thursday for assaulting a man at a pub in April.

The two-division UFC champion was promoting his whiskey brand, Proper 12, when he entered Marble Arch Pub in Dublin on April 6 and punched a man in the face for not accepting the drink. A video of the incident surfaced in August, and CCTV footage of the incident was shown in Dublin District Court.

McGregor also paid a £1,000 ($1,116.16) fine.

"I was in the wrong," McGregor told ESPN in August. "That man deserved to enjoy his time in the pub without having it end the way it did. ... I tried to make amends, and I made amends back then. But it doesn't matter. I was in the wrong."

McGregor has not fought since his loss to Khabib Nurmagomedov a year ago, but recently announced a Jan. 18, 2020, fight in Las Vegas.
