IndyCar driver picks up Steak 'n Shake sponsorship

Graham Rahal added a partial sponsor and team co-owner David Letterman might add some weight.

Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing announced Monday that Indianapolis-based Steak 'n Shake will serve as primary sponsor for five of Rahal's Verizon IndyCar Series races including the Indianapolis 500. It also will serve as an associate for the remainder of the slate.

Maxim magazine, like the burger chain owned by Biglari Holdings Inc., will also be branded on Rahal's No. 15 Honda.

"I've been eating them since I was 11. Finally, free Steakburgers!" Letterman said in a release.​
