Sadler signs with Joe Gibbs Racing in Nationwide
Elliott Sadler wasn't without a team for long.
He signed with Joe Gibbs Racing to run a full-time Nationwide slate in 2013.
Sadler's last race with Richard Childress Racing was Saturday at Homestead-Miami Speedway, where he finished runner-up for the title a second straight year.
He has nine wins in 197 starts in 15 years of racing off and on the circuit.
Brian Vickers has the other full-time seat at JGR, and it's expected that Sprint Cup regulars Kyle Busch, Denny Hamlin and Matt Kenseth also will run a handful of races. Kenseth joins JGR in 2013 from Roush Fenway Racing.
The move wasn't a surprise, long rumored in the garage area for months as Sadler's deal with RCR wound down.
