NASCAR at Talladega: Start time, lineup, TV/radio listings and more

TALLADEGA, Ala. — It's NASCAR race day at Talladega Superspeedway, and we've got some essential information you need to get ready for today's Camping World RV Sales 500.

START TIME: Marcus Lemonis, the head of Camping World, will instruct drivers to start their engines at 2:09 p.m. Eastern time today (1:09 local), followed by the green flag at 2:21 p.m. So if you want to skip the pre-race show and just tune in for the race, turn on your TV at 2:21.

RACE DISTANCE: The Camping World RV Sales 500 is a 500.08-mile race around the 2.66-mile Talladega Superspeedway. Drivers will need to complete 188 laps to finish the full distance.

NATIONAL ANTHEM:

TV/RADIO SCHEDULE: ESPN will broadcast today's race and has a pre-race show beginning at 1 p.m. ET. The Motor Racing Network (MRN) will call the race on the radio.

WEATHER:

LAST TIME: Underdog David Ragan led Front Row Motorsports to a 1-2 finish thanks to a push from teammate David Gilliland in the spring Talladega race. And one year ago, Matt Kenseth won as the race finished under caution.

STARTING LINEUP: Rain canceled Saturday's qualifying session, which meant the starting lineup was determined by the speeds in Friday's first practice.
