NASCAR at Las Vegas: Start time, lineup, TV/radio schedule

LAS VEGAS — It's NASCAR race day at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, and we've got some essential information you need to get ready for Sunday's Kobalt 400.
START TIME: The band Rascal Flatts will instruct drivers to start their engines at 3:37 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time (12:37 p.m. PT) today, followed by the green flag at 3:46 p.m. So if you want to skip the pre-race show and just tune in for the race, turn on your TV at 3:46 p.m.
RACE DISTANCE: The Kobalt 400 is 267 laps around the 1.5-mile Las Vegas Motor Speedway for a total of 400.5 miles.
NATIONAL ANTHEM: Rascal Flatts will sing the national anthem.
TV/RADIO SCHEDULE: FOX will broadcast today's race and has a pre-race show beginning at 3 p.m. EDT. The Performance Racing Network (PRN) will call the race on the radio.
WEATHER: After a miserable race day last weekend at Atlanta Motor Speedway, drivers and fans can appreciate a spectacular forecast for Sunday at LVMS — sunny with a high of 76 and zero chance of rain.
LAST TIME: Brad Keselowski won last year's Sprint Cup race at LVMS to complete a weekend sweep at the track. The Las Vegas victory was the first of six in 2014 for the 2012 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series champion.
STARTING LINEUP: Jeff Gordon won his second pole in three races Friday after a qualifying run of 194.679 mph, but he's already faced a handful of issues in his final full-time season. He crashed at both the season-opening Daytona 500 and the following race at Atlanta — finishing 33rd and 41st, respectively — and his No. 24 suffered damage late in Saturday's final practice at Las Vegas, forcing the four-time champion to a backup car and the back of the starting grid.
