NASCAR Bristol night race 2015: Start time, lineup, TV/radio schedule

BRISTOL, Tenn. — It's NASCAR race night at Bristol Motor Speedway, and we've got some essential information you need to get ready for tonight’s Sprint Cup Series race.
START TIME: Drivers will be instructed to start their engines at 7:40 p.m. Eastern time tonight, followed by the green flag at 7:45 p.m. So if you want to skip the pre-race show and just tune in for the race, turn on your TV at 7:45 p.m.
RACE DISTANCE: The Irwin Tools Night Race is 500 laps — not miles — around the 0.533-mile Bristol Motor Speedway for a total of 266.5 miles.
NATIONAL ANTHEM: One of the great NASCAR traditions is when children of the drivers and crews who belong to the Motor Racing Outreach program sing the national anthem prior to the Bristol night race. They'll do so again tonight.
TV/RADIO SCHEDULE: NBC Sports Network (NBCSN) will broadcast tonight's race and has a pre-race show beginning at 7 p.m. ET. The Performance Racing Network (PRN) will call the race on the radio.
LIVE STREAMING: Available for subscribers on the NBC Sports app and website.
WEATHER: The National Weather Service is calling for a nice summer evening in Tennessee. Temperatures should be in the low 80s around the start of the race and dip into the low 70s by the conclusion. No rain is expected.
LAST TIME: Matt Kenseth scored the first of his three victories so far this season with a win in the April race at Bristol, holding off Jimmie Johnson on a green-white-checkered finish. Kenseth has won two of the last four Bristol races. And one year ago, Joey Logano won the Bristol night race — his first.
STARTING LINEUP: For the second straight week, Joe Gibbs Racing qualified 1-2-3; this time, it was Denny Hamlin on the pole, followed by Kyle Busch and Carl Edwards.
