DOVER, Del. — It's NASCAR race day at Dover International Speedway, and we've got some essential information you need to get ready for today’s Sprint Cup Series race — the final race in the first round of the Chase.

START TIME: Actress Rosie Perez will instruct drivers to start their engines at 2:37 p.m. Eastern time today, followed by the green flag at 2:45 p.m. So if you want to skip the pre-race show and just tune in for the race, turn on your TV at 2:37 p.m.

RACE DISTANCE: The AAA 400 is 400 laps around the 1-mile Dover International Speedway for a total of 400 miles. This is an elimination race for the first round of the Chase, which means four drivers will be cut after today's event. Kyle Busch, Paul Menard, Kevin Harvick and Clint Bowyer are currently outside of the top 12.

NATIONAL ANTHEM: Sam Harris of the band X Ambassadors will sing the national anthem prior to today's race. The band is also performing a pre-race concert.

TV/RADIO SCHEDULE: NBC Sports Network (NBCSN) will broadcast today's race and has a pre-race show beginning at 2 p.m. ET. The Motor Racing Network (MRN) will call the race on the radio.

WEATHER: The National Weather Service is calling for windy day (with breezes around 25 mph and gusts as high as 35 mph) and a 30% chance of rain for the race.

LAST TIME: Jimmie Johnson won his record 10th Dover race when he went to victory lane here in May. And one year ago, Jeff Gordon won the AAA 400 — which may end up standing as the final win of his career.

STARTING LINEUP: With persistent rain on Friday, qualifying was cancelled and the starting lineup was set according to the rulebook. That put points leader Matt Kenseth on the pole, followed by Joe Gibbs Racing teammate Denny Hamlin.
