Danica Patrick locks up sponsorship for all 2016 Sprint Cup races
MARTINSVILLE, Va. — Danica Patrick’s No. 10 Chevrolet will be fully sponsored for all 36 Sprint Cup points races in 2016 as TaxAct announced Friday that is has extended its contract with the Stewart-Haas Racing driver for three years.
Longtime sponsor GoDaddy told Paste BN Sports this spring that it would end its partnership with Patrick after this season, but the 33-year-old acquired new multi-year sponsor Nature’s Bakery (28 races) and saw Aspen Dental expand its role (four races) as replacements.
Both Aspen Dental and TaxAct have served as primary sponsors this season, in which Patrick is in position for a career-best points finish — currently 23rd — and is one off her best of three top-10s in a year.
