NASCAR at Martinsville 2015: Start time, lineup, TV/radio schedule

MARTINSVILLE, Va. — It's NASCAR race day at Martinsville Speedway, and we've got some essential information you need to get ready for today’s Chase for the Sprint Cup race.
START TIME: Hall of Famer Richard Petty and Circle K marketing director Tom Harman will instruct drivers to start their engines at 1:23 p.m. Eastern time today, followed by the green flag at 1:28 p.m. -- weather permitting. This schedule could be moved up a few minutes due to impending rain, but it won't go green before 1:15 p.m.
RACE DISTANCE: The Goody's Headache Relief Shot 500 is 500 laps around the 0.526-mile Martinsville Speedway for a total of 263 miles.
NATIONAL ANTHEM: The N.C. State marching band will perform the national anthem before today's race.
TV/RADIO SCHEDULE: NBC Sports Network (NBCSN) will broadcast today's race and has a pre-race show beginning at 1 p.m. ET. The Motor Racing Network (MRN) will call the race on the radio.
WEATHER: Iffy. The National Weather Service is calling for a chance of showers before 2 p.m., then rain "likely" after 2 p.m. It could come down to timing, as sunset should be around 5:23 p.m. -- meaning there won't be much time to wait out any rain delays before darkness (Martinsville does not have lights). The temperatures are expected to mostly be in the 50s with a high near 64.
