NASCAR at Sonoma 2016: Start time, lineup, TV schedule, more

SONOMA, Calif. — It’s NASCAR race day at Sonoma Raceway, and we’ve got all the information you need to get ready for today’s Sprint Cup Series race.
START TIME: Ruben Arminana, president of Sonoma State University, will instruct drivers to start their engines at 3:08 p.m. Eastern time today (12:08 local), followed by the green flag at 3:20 p.m.
RACE DISTANCE: The Toyota/Save Mart 350 is not 350 miles — it's 350 kilometers. That's 110 laps around the 1.99-mile circuit for a total of 218.9 miles.
NATIONAL ANTHEM/FLYOVER: Q Smith, from Transcendence Theatre's Broadway Under the Stars in Sonoma Valley, will sing the national anthem prior to today's race. That will be followed by a flyover from the 114th Fighter Squadron from Kingsley Field in Oregon.
TV/RADIO SCHEDULE: For the final time this season, Fox Sports 1 will broadcast the race on TV and has a pre-race show beginning at 2 p.m. Eastern time. The Performance Racing Network (PRN) and Sirius/XM Radio will call the race on the radio.
WEATHER: A beautiful Northern California day. The National Weather Service is calling for sunny skies with a high near 90 degrees and a slight breeze.
LAST TIME: Kyle Busch made a late pit stop for tires and rallied for a surprise win to make himself Chase-eligible despite missing the first portion of the season with a broken right leg and left foot.
STARTING LINEUP: Carl Edwards, who won at Sonoma in 2014, edged AJ Allmendinger, who started on the pole in 2015, for the top spot in qualifying.
