NASCAR at Watkins Glen 2016: Start time, lineup, TV schedule, more

WATKINS GLEN, N.Y. - It is NASCAR race day at Watkins Glen International, and we’ve got all the information you need to get ready for today’s Sprint Cup Series race.
START TIME: John & Johnny Persons will instruct drivers to start their engines at 2:38 p.m. Eastern time today, followed by the green flag at 2:49 p.m.
RACE DISTANCE: The Cheez-It 355 is 90 laps, 220.5 miles (355 kilometers) around the 2.45-mile, 11-turn course.
NATIONAL ANTHEM/FLYOVER: J.W. Cortes will perform the American National Anthem. Amy Rivard will perform the Canadian National Anthem.
TV/RADIO SCHEDULE: USA will broadcast the race on TV and has a pre-race show beginning at 2 p.m. Eastern time. The Motor Racing Network (MRN) and Sirius/XM Radio will call the race on the radio.
WEATHER: According to the National Weather Service, mostly sunny, high of 85 degrees, with a 10 percent chance of rain and zero percent chance of Long Pond fog.
