NASCAR at Kansas: What you need to know for today's Chase race

KANSAS CITY, KAN. — It's NASCAR race day at Kansas Speedway, and we've got some essential information you need to get ready for the Hollywood Casino 400.
START TIME: Jesse Metcalfe, actor, model, and star of Hallmark Channel’s Chesapeake Shores is scheduled to instruct drivers to start their engines at 2:22 p.m. ET, followed by the green flag.
RACE DISTANCE: The Hollywood Casino 400 is 267 laps around the 1.5-mile track for a total of 400.5 miles.
NATIONAL ANTHEM: Samantha Dawn, from Lake of the Ozarks, Mo., will perform the national anthem.
TV/RADIO SCHEDULE: NBC will broadcast the race with a pre-race show at 1:30 p.m ET. Motor Racing Network and Sirius XM will carry the race on the radio.
WEATHER: According to the National Weather Service, it will be partly sunny, with a high near 85. South winds from 8 to 14 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.
LAST TIME: Joey Logano overtook and moved a blocking Matt Kenseth in the final laps to win in the second Chase race of Round 2 at Kansas last season.
STARTING LINEUP: Kenseth, second in points, will start from the pole today. He led a contingent of Toyota drivers, as five qualified in the top seven.
