FORT WORTH, Texas – According to records filed in North Carolina Business Court, Stewart-Haas Racing and former Danica Patrick sponsor Nature’s Bakery will have their complaints heard by a mediator on Wednesday.
A second session will be held within 30 days after all summary judgment motions and briefs are filed.
Nature’s Bakery ended its sponsorship of Patrick’s No. 10 Ford before the season began, stating that neither the team nor the driver had fulfilled its promise to elevate the brand’s national profile. SHR filed a $31 million breach of contract in response and the fig bar company filed a counterclaim. The company was in the second year of a three-year deal.
