NASCAR at Sonoma 2019: Schedule, lineup, TV and weather for Toyota/Save Mart 350
It’s race day at Sonoma Raceway, and we've got all the information you need to get ready for Sunday's Toyota/Save Mart 350, the 16th race in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series:
START TIME: 3 p.m. ET (Noon local). GREEN FLAG: 3:13 p.m. ET (12:13 p.m. local).
Representatives from Toyota Racing Development, including President and General Manager David Wilson, will instruct drivers to start their engines at 3:01 p.m. ET. (12:01 p.m. local).
TV: FS1. Pre-race broadcast begins at 2 p.m. ET. (11 a.m. local).
RADIO: Performance Racing Network. STREAMING: Fox Sports Go.
RACE DISTANCE: 90 laps around the 2.52-mile newly configured road course for a total of 226.8 miles.
STAGE LENGTHS (laps per stage): Stage 1: 20, Stage 2: 20, Stage 3: 50.
NATIONAL ANTHEM: Soul music legends and Bay Area natives, the Tower of Power, will perform the national anthem at 2:55 p.m. ET (11:55 a.m. local), followed by a flyover by two F-15C Eagles from the 123d Fighter Squadron Redhawks of the Oregon Air National Guard .
WEATHER: Warm and bright. The Weather Channel is forecasting sunny skies with temperatures in the mid to high 80s and no chance of rain.
LAST TIME: Martin Truex Jr. led 62 of 110 laps on the old 1.99-mile road course, walloping runner-up Kevin Harvick and the rest of thet field with a margin of victory of more than 10 seconds. It was Truex's second career Cup win at Sonoma after taking the checkered flag in 2013
LINEUP: Chip Ganassi Racing's Kyle Larson won the pole for the third consecutive year, topping Hendrick Motorsports' William Byron and putting two Chevrolets on the front row.
