NBA will hold some 2013 preseason games overseas
Eight NBA teams will play 2013 preseason games overseas, the league announced on Tuesday. The games will include the first-ever NBA preseason games to be held in Brazil and the Philippines, and in the cities of Bilbao, Spain and Manchester, England.
"Providing fans with an authentic NBA experience is an important part of our efforts to grow the game globally," NBA Commissioner David Stern said in a press release. "This fall, nearly a third of our teams will embark on a global tour that will celebrate the game of basketball, give our international fans a chance to connect with NBA teams and players, and leave a lasting impact in each of the communities we visit."

Oct. 5: Oklahoma City Thunder vs. Fenerbahce Ulker Istanbul, Ulker Sports Arena, Istanbul, Turkey
Oct. 6: Philadelphia 76ers vs. Uxue Bilbao Basket, Bizkaia Arena at the BEC, Bilbao, Spain
Oct. 8: Oklahoma City Thunder vs. Philadelphia 76ers, Manchester Arena, Manchester, England
Oct. 10: Houston Rockets vs. Indiana Pacers, Mall of Asia Arena, Manila, Philippines
Oct. 13: Houston Rockets vs. Indiana Pacers, Taipei Arena, Taipei, Taiwan
Oct. 12: Chicago Bulls vs. Washington Wizards, HSBC Arena, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
Oct. 15: Golden State Warriors vs. Los Angeles Lakers, MasterCard Center, Beijing, China
Oct. 18: Golden State Warriors vs. Los Angeles Lakers, Mercedes-Benz Arena, Shanghai, China
