Blazers get Mason Plumlee from Brooklyn
The Brooklyn Nets have agreed to send center Mason Plumlee and newly-drafted guard Pat Connaughton (Notre Dame, 41st overall) to the Portland Trail Blazers in exchange for veteran point guard Steve Blake and the 23rd pick out of Arizona, small forward Rondae Hollis-Jefferson, a person with knowledge of the situation confirmed to Paste BN Sports.
The person spoke on the condition of anonymity because the deal has not been announced.
Plumlee averaged 8.7 points and 6.2 rebounds for the Nets. He is insurance for Portland in case it loses LaMarcus Aldridge.
