NBA dunks of the week: Jan. 25-Jan. 31
From all of the rim-rattling, posterizing throw downs that we've witnessed throughout the week, these five dunks were the best for NBA Dunks of the Week.
(From Jan. 25 to Jan. 31)
Honorable mention
Ben McLemore
This isn't the first time that Rudy Gay and Ben McLemore have connected for a highlight reel alley-oop, and it certainly won't be the last.
5. Derrick Williams
Marreese Speights might think twice the next time he sees Derrick Williams heading towards the rim with a full head of steam.
4. Jimmy Butler
Can it be drawn up any better? From the inbounds, to the pass, to the finish — Pau Gasol and Jimmy Butler make this one look easy.
3. Archie Goodwin
Kristaps Porzingis is usually on the other end of the highlight reel with putbacks aplenty, but not this time. Let's get a round of applause for Archie Goodwin, standing at 6-5, going up and over the 7-3 rookie.
2. Nerlens Noel
In one of the few things that have gone right for the 76ers this season, Nerlens Noel obliterates Andre Drummond with this ferocious finish.
1. Lance Stephenson
We're not sure what's better about this one ... the dunk itself, or DeAndre Jordan's reaction when he realized what he just witnessed. Nonetheless, Lance Stephenson's vicious throw down over Julius Randle might find its way into the Dunk of the Year conversation.
