The Memphis Grizzlies have no desire to be on the wrong end of history Wednesday night when the Golden State Warriors aim for their NBA-record 73rd regular-season win in the season finale.

"They're chasing history," Grizzlies forward Matt Barnes said on Tuesday night, per ESPN. "We have a chance to interrupt history. Playing in Golden State, I know how alive that crowd is going to be, and I'm going to be very excited to be part of that game."

Grizzlies coach Dave Joerger agreed.

"It's for history, baby," Joerger told ESPN. "We're going to give it our best shot."

The injury-plagued Grizzlies have lost nine of their last 10 games; they are 0-3 against Golden State and have been outscored 319-252 in those games.

Memphis almost pulled off the upset in its most recent matchup with Golden State on Saturday, losing by one point.

The game is at 10:30 pm ET on ESPN.
