Kevin Durant, Carmelo Anthony among nominees for NBA's Community Assist Award

Fan voting has begun for the 2015-16 seasonlong NBA Cares Community Assist award, the league announced Monday.

The nominees for the award — which is given to players who go above and beyond in giving back to their communities throughout the course of the NBA season — are Carmelo Anthony, Mike Conley, Anthony Davis, Andre Drummond, Kevin Durant, Draymond Green, Zach LaVine, Damian Lillard, Victor Oladipo, and John Wall.

This marks the fourth year that the league has recognized a seasonlong winner of the Community Assist Award, which has been given monthly since the start of the 2001-02 season. Past seasonlong winners include Pau Gasol (2011-12), Dwyane Wade (2012-13), Stephen Curry (2013-14), and Russell Westbrook (2014-15).

Fans can vote for their favorite nominee up until May 18 via Facebook, Twitter and Instagram with the hashtag #NBACommunityAssist, followed by the player's first and last name (e.g. #CarmeloAnthony, #KevinDurant).

Along with Kaiser Permanente, the NBA will donate $25,000 to the winner's charity of choice.

Vignettes for each nominee can be seen on the NBA Cares YouTube channel.
