One of the defining moments of the Cleveland Cavaliers' Game 3 win over the Golden State Warriors was the electrifying Kyrie Irving to LeBron James alley-oop late in the third quarter to give Cleveland a 20-point lead and put — what would ultimately be — the final exclamation point on the game.

They alley-oop pass wasn't placed well, but according to Irving, that may have been intentional.

"Some people may say it's a bad pass, but I wanted to see something great," Irving, who had 30 points and 8 assists, said after the game. "And for him to do that, it was awesome."

He wanted something great, and the four-time MVP delivered.

"I didn't know exactly which one of my teammates was running the left wing until I got back up off the ground and saw Kyrie," James said. "I threw it to Kyrie and made, I think it was Klay (Thompson), just shift a little bit and I knew he was gonna throw it up there, and I had to go get it. He threw it, I had to go get it."
